FAQs
Yes! All Qookie Go models can be worn on both sides - so you can switch between the right and left hip at any time. This takes the strain off your back and makes wearing it even more comfortable, especially on longer walks.
From 6 months, i.e. before your baby can sit - the only important thing is that it has some “mass” (at least approx. 5 kg) in order to fill the bag nicely and sit securely.
Yes! Thanks to the wide, adjustable back section, the carrier fits parents from sizes XS to XXL. Many families share one - from mom and dad to grandma.
The Qookie Go is lighter, more compact and much faster.
Many babies want to see more and look around from around 6 months. Then sometimes the previously loved carrier is suddenly refused - the Qookie Go is the perfect solution: close, but with the best view.
It is also perfect for small children who are already walking and want to be carried “sometimes yes, sometimes no” - not a classic baby carrier, but your practical everyday helper.
Yes, that works wonderfully! Simply loosen the buckle a little and let your child slide a little lower - and you can breastfeed discreetly and comfortably without taking off the carrier.
Quite the opposite! Carrying the child on the hip without a baby carrier is really tiring - the pelvis tilts askew, the back is tense and the arm is constantly tense to support the child.
With the Qookie Go, on the other hand, the weight is distributed evenly over the hips and shoulders, so you can carry yourself upright and in a much more relaxed manner. Many parents say: “Finally no more pain – and two free hands!”
Yes! At 30°, spin at low speeds. If possible, wash your Qookie Go carrier in a pillowcase or laundry net.
Don’t worry – not if you alternate sides! As with any one-sided strain (e.g. carrying a bag or carrying a child without a carrier in your arms), it is important to change sides regularly.
This keeps your body balanced, your muscles work on both sides - and you even strengthen your core muscles at the same time.
Not at all! Many parents use them at home - when preparing food, cleaning up or helping them fall asleep. But it's also a savior for tired legs when you're out and about: on the playground, on vacation or while taking a walk.
Yes, absolutely. Your child sits in the recommended spread-squat position (M position), and the weight is distributed comfortably across the hips and shoulders of the person carrying it.
Yes that works!
A parent can use two Qookie Go hip carriers at the same time - one on each hip.
But: Please take good care of your body! Twins mean double weight, so listen to your body and take enough breaks.
Until you no longer need them. Officially up to 20 kg – that corresponds to around 4-5 years. Perfect if your child is already walking but wants to be carried every now and then.
You can order a Qookie Go without obligation and try it out at home within 30 days. If it doesn't fit you, you can send it back.
The brand name Qookie was created as a play on our younger daughter's nickname.
When Anna founded Limas in 2015, the name came from her older daughter's initials and we had the feeling that the little one sometimes felt a bit disadvantaged as a result.
Since we sometimes call the little one “Cookie” in everyday life, we decided to use this nickname as the basis for the brand name of our next company.
