Please note the following information on using your Qookie hammock.

  • Do not use the mattress alone without the cradle.
  • Before each use, check whether the Qookie Swing hammock has been assembled correctly and whether all parts are in perfect condition.
  • Before each use, check the durability and load-bearing capacity of your cradle frame or the ceiling or wall mounting.
  • Please note that certain parts of the hammock and the attachment can be swallowed due to their size. These parts must not be left unattended by children. These include, for example, the carabiners and the swivel.
  • Only use the Qookie Swing hammock under supervision and do not leave your child alone in the hammock. Please also make sure that your child does not have unwanted access to the assembled swing cradle.
  • Do not allow other children or pets near a bassinet if there is a baby in it. Pets could jump into the bassinet, posing a risk of injury to your baby.
  • The hammock and some components are flammable and must therefore not be placed near open fire or hot objects. These include, among other things, stoves and fireplaces.
  • The Qookie Swing hammock was developed for indoor use. It can still be used outdoors in good weather. Please do not leave the bassinet or other Qookie products outdoors overnight.
  • As soon as your child is big enough to sit up independently or pull themselves up using objects, you should stop using the spring cradle.
  • Before each use, check that the stand, wall or ceiling mount and other components are properly assembled. Something may have become loose or dislodged due to carelessness since the last use.
  • Your child should not lie in the bassinet overnight or during bedtime. Please place your child in a proper bed or crib when your child needs his or her regular sleep.
  • If the vibration is too great, the baby can injure itself in the cradle. Therefore, make sure that you do not hit the hammock too hard and do not operate the hammock motor at too high a level.
  • Only use the spring cradle with the spring protection pulled on and never use the spring without the spring protection.
  • Always place the spring cradle frame on a level surface and avoid using it on uneven surfaces.
  • Only place or hang the hammock in places that have enough space in all directions so that the hammock cannot accidentally hit other objects or walls.
